• Why you need password software
One of the problems with passwords security is that users forget them. Like most computer users, you need lots of passwords: for your computer, bank accounts, Internet services. Remembering all of them is not easy. That's why some users create passwords that are easily to remember (using birth date, dog's name, or some other obvious choice) and, unfortunately, so easily guessable. Easily guessable passwords can become a great weakness in your computer security.
Using password management tools is an easy way to store and remember passwords securely.
My Password Generator is passwords management tool that generated random passwords and maintains a list of usernames and passwords in encrypted form.

My Password Generator - Online help
How to download, install, run and start using My Password Generator
1. At first you need to download My Password Generator using the following link
http://www.morun.net/www/downloads/mypasswordgenerator.html
2. To install My Password Generator, run password.exe (you should remember where you saved the program) or run the "Add/Remove Programs" utility from Windows Control Panel, click the Install button and select password.exe
3. After My Password Generator is installed on your PC, run the program: double-click on My Password Generator desktop icon or click the Start button and choose My Password Generator from the list of programs.
My Password Generator tray icon appears in the tray menu. Usually you can find tray icons in the right bottom corner near the clock.
If you can't find My Password Generator tray icon and you run Windows Vista or Windows XP, click 'Show/hide icon' button in the tray menu.
To access program features right-click on My Password Generator tray icon to access program tray menu
Or double-click on program desktop icon.
4. How to:
• Find your PC UserID
• Register My Password Generator with Temporary Registration information
• Register My Password Generator with Complete Registration information
• Start using My Password Generator
TO FIND YOUR USER ID:
1. Double-click on My Password Generator desktop icon
and click 'Help' button in the toolbar 
2. Select Complete Registration item. 'Complete Registration' window appears.
You can find your UserID in UserID field.

 Note: You are recommended to enter UserID using copy/paste commands:
to select UserID double-click on UserID or put the cursor at the beginning of UserID and press Shift + End
to copy UserID right-click on the selected UserID and select 'Copy' from the context menu or press Ctrl + C
to paste UserID right-click and select 'Paste' from the context menu or press Ctrl + V

TEMPORARY REGISTRATION

Note:
- Temporary registration information will be sent you via e-mail in a few minutes after you place your order and your credit card is accepted.
- Make sure you can receive automatically generated emails from 
- Temporary Registration information allows you to use the program (if your trial has expired) until you get Complete Registration information.
- My Password Generator with Temporary registration information may operate for a limited period of time.

1. Double-click on My Password Generator desktop icon
and click 'Help' button in the toolbar
2. Select Temporary Registration item. Temporary Registration window appears.
3. Enter Temporary registration information (Name, E-mail, Date and Registration Key).

Note:
- You are recommended to enter registration information using copy/paste commands.
- Make sure you enter Date to the Date field from the e-mail with Temporary registration information.
- To copy/paste Registration key:

4. Click 'Temporary Activate'.

COMPLETE REGISTRATION
After you receive the email with Complete registration information, you should register My Password Generator with it.
1. Double-click on My Password Generator desktop icon
and click 'Help' button in the toolbar
2. Select Complete Registration item. 'Complete Registration' window appears.
3. Enter Complete registration information (Name, E-mail and Registration Key).

Note:
- You should enter ALL registration information (including Name, email, etc) using copy/paste commands.
- User ID is inserted into the User ID field automatically.
- To copy/paste Registration key:
to select Registration key double-click on registration key in the e-mail with registration information or put the cursor at the beginning of the Registration key and press Shift + End
to copy Registration key right-click on the selected registration key and select 'Copy' from the context menu or press Ctrl + C
to paste Registration key right-click in Registration key field and select 'Paste' from the context menu or press Ctrl + V

4. Click 'Activate'.

Start using My Password Generator
How to generate password
To generate random password:
• Double-click on My Password Generator desktop icon.
• Click 'Tools' button and select 'Password Generator'.
• In 'Random password generator settings' area specify password length and what characters you want to use (upper/lower case letters, digits).
• Click 'Generate password' button and you'll see your password in 'Generated password' field.
Random passwords can be edited and copied to the clipboard (manually or using 'Copy password' button) for pasting into other applications.
If you want to generate another password, just click 'Generate password' button.
How to generate password and copy it to buffer (clipboard)
To save your time you can use 'Generate and Copy password' feature. This feature is also accessible by hotkeys Ctrl + Shift + G(by default) and from My Password Generator tray menu
To generate random password and copy it to buffer (clipboard):
• Double-click on My Password Generator desktop icon.
• Click 'Tools' button and select 'Password Generator'.
• In 'Random password generator settings' area specify password length and what characters you want to use (upper/lower case letters, digits).
• Click 'Generate and Copy password' button and you'll see your password in 'Generated password' field and it will be automatically copied to buffer (clipboard).
How to copy password to buffer (clipboard)
Using 'Copy password' or 'Generate and copy password' you can easily copy generated password to clipboard and then paste it into password field in any application.
Using generated passwords in other applications
Using 'Copy password' you can easily copy generated password to clipboard (buffer) and then paste it into password field in any application.
To save your time you can use 'Generate and Copy password' feature (also accessible by hotkeys)
How to specify criteria for generating random passwords
• Double-click on My Password Generator desktop icon.
• Click 'Tools' button and select 'Password Generator'.
• In 'Random password generator settings' area specify:
- password length. My Password Generator allows you to generate random passwords of any length. Randomness of generated passwords makes them hard to guess.
- what characters you want to use - upper/lower case letters, digits.

Lock stored passwords (dismount passwords database)
Unlock stored passwords (mount passwords database)
If you have problems with Temporary Registration:
• Make sure you select 'Temporary registration' not 'Complete registration'
• Make sure you enter Date to the Date field from the e-mail with Temporary registration information.
• Make sure there are no spaces in registration key and registration key is fully copied.
• Check the system date - it should be the current date.
If your trial hasn't expired yet, you can wait for Complete Registration information. Complete Registration Information will be sent you within 1-3 business days after your credit card has been processed.
If you are still having problems, make a screenshot of your Temporary Registration window and send it to us:
• Copy and paste Temporary registration information in Temporary registration window, click 'Register'.
• After that make a screenshot of Temporary Registration window so we can see information you entered and the error message and send it to us. To make a screenshot use Print Screen (Prt Sc) key on your keyboard - the picture will be placed to the buffer. After that you can paste the screenshot for example in Word, Photoshop, etc. Save the file and attach it to the email.
If you have problems with Complete Registration:
All fields are case sensitive. We recommend you to enter ALL registration information using copy/paste commands (including Name, email, etc).
• Make sure there are no spaces in registration key and registration key is fully copied.
• Make sure you enter Complete registration information in 'Complete Registration' window (not in 'Temporary registration window').
If you are still having problems, make a screenshot of your Complete Registration window and send it to us:
